A singularity container image is available for using Alphafold on the Firefly cluster.

Instructions and required files can be found at this link: ARCCA GitHub fork of Alphafold

For quick testing, follow the steps:

• Login in to Firefly compute node (as the head node doesn't have GPU)

  $ ssh firefly
  $ ssh firefly01 

• Copy the example scripts directory into your working directory

  $ cp /opt/ohpc/pub/singularity/test-scripts/alphafold-2 . -R 

• Run alphafold on test sequence T1050.fasta

  $ cd alphafold-2
  $ bash alphafold-singularity-run.sh --fasta_paths T1050.fasta
